My transformation story with Marie Miller and 614Fitness began in July of 2017. That month I decided it was time to get serious about strength training. I had been working out at the studio and after a discussion with Marie, I decided to begin some personal training sessions with her.
In October of 2017- I began a series of 8 personal training sessions with Marie, and wow what a difference. From the very first session she helped me focus on form- getting deeper into the full range of motion, and learning what a skill should feel like. After my 8 sessions I've continued to work out at 614fitness- small group training twice a week and a Zone class.
I also made some nutrition changes- nothing crazy, nothing I couldn't live with for life. Two of the biggest were giving up my 3-5 a day diet coke habit and my 3 times a week latte at Starbucks.
As of now I'm down 4 dress/pants sizes, I ran a personal best time at the Flying Pig half (marathon) this spring, and I'm running better and faster than I ever have.
